1. Agreement to Terms

By dropping off garments, linens, footwear, or household items at Sun Cleaners (1026 Route 146, Clifton Park, NY 12065) or utilizing our website (suncleaners-cliftonpark.com), you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Garment Care & Manufacturer Guidelines

We exercise the utmost care in processing articles entrusted to us. We clean all items in accordance with the manufacturer's care label instructions. In the absence of care labels, our certified technicians use their professional judgment to determine the safest cleaning protocol.

Sun Cleaners is not responsible for inherent garment defects, manufacturer dyeing flaws, weaknesses caused by age or exposure to light, or decorative trims (such as non-dry-cleanable beads, glued ornamentation, or fragile buttons) that fail to meet standard garment manufacturing care requirements.

3. Stain Removal

While our experienced spotting technicians utilize advanced techniques to safely treat stubborn stains (including wine, blood, oil, coffee, ink, and road salt), we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains without risking fiber damage or color loss. Re-cleaning will be performed at our discretion when safe for the fabric.

4. Count & Item Inspection

Please check your items and counts upon pickup. Any discrepancies or concerns regarding cleaning or alteration results must be reported to Sun Cleaners within seven (7) days of pickup accompanied by the original claim ticket.

5. Unclaimed Garment Policy

In accordance with New York State business standards, all garments left unclaimed after ninety (90) days from drop-off may be donated to local charity or disposed of to offset storage and processing costs, unless prior written arrangements have been made with management.

6. Limitation of Liability

In the unlikely event of damage or loss for which Sun Cleaners is determined to be responsible, liability is governed by standard Fair Claims Guide standards established by the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI), taking into account garment age, depreciation, and replacement value.
