We are located at 1026 Route 146, Clifton Park, NY 12065 in the Clifton Park Plaza. You will find us right at the intersection of Route 146 and Vischer Ferry Road, directly behind Trustco Bank and adjacent to the Price Chopper shopping plaza. We are only 2.5 miles west of Exit 9 off of I-87 (The Northway).

Our store is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Closed Sunday). Our master tailor is on-site for walk-in fittings Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

No appointment is necessary! You are welcome to walk in during our regular tailor fitting hours (Mon-Fri 7am-5pm, Sat 8am-2pm). We have a private fitting room where our head tailor will measure, pin, and discuss your exact preferences.

Yes! If you have an unexpected business meeting, funeral, wedding, or trip, drop off your garments by 9:00 AM Monday through Friday and notify our counter staff. Same-day or next-day turnaround is available for most standard dry cleaning and shirt laundry items.

The best step is to do nothing at home! Rubbing stains with water, club soda, or domestic soap can set the stain into the fabric fibers or bleach the dye. Simply bring the garment to Sun Cleaners as soon as possible and point out the stain to our counter staff, letting us know what caused it (wine, coffee, oil, blood, ink). Our certified spotters will apply the correct manual digestive chemistry.

Yes. We clean luxury outerwear including Canada Goose, Moncler, North Face, wool trench coats, and ski jackets. Our gentle process cleans down insulation thoroughly without stripping the natural oils from down clusters, restoring maximum warmth and fluffiness.

We are one of the few certified cleaners in the Capital District specializing in genuine sheepskin footwear. We safely extract Upstate NY winter road salt rings, rinse out water tide marks, clean the inner shearling fleece, deodorize the footbed, reshape the toe box, and apply a protective water-repellent finish.

At Sun Cleaners, we inspect every shirt cuff and placket. If we find a cracked, broken, or missing button, we replace it free of charge with a matching button and thread before packaging your order.

Keep your preserved gown chest in a climate-controlled room inside your home (such as a bedroom closet shelf or under a master bed). Never store preserved dresses in attics, garages, or basements, where seasonal humidity and temperature fluctuations can harm delicate lace and silk.

Yes! We offer four distinct starch levels: No Starch (soft), Light Starch, Medium Starch (standard executive crispness), and Heavy Starch (military-crisp). We record your preference in our computer system so every order is consistent.

Yes! Clifton Park Plaza features an expansive, free parking lot right in front of our entrance. You can easily pull up within steps of our front door for quick drop-offs and pickups, even on rainy or snowy days.
